Among the manufacturers showcasing a comprehensive range of remanufactured and OEM printer accessories was ARMOR, which offers a remanufactured inkjet cartridge range covering more than 90% of installed printers.

ARMOR products are remanufactured from cartridges that have undergone a single original operating cycle to guarantee the best quality; are guaranteed for two years; and can deliver savings of up to 40%, while maintaining optimum print quality.

The company also showcased its remanufactured laser cartridges, which deliver yields comparable to original equipment manufacturers’ (OEMs) consumables. The range now includes a high volume toner cartridge, the Jumbo cartridge, which offers twice as much print capacity as a standard cartridge whilst maintaining the same dimensions.

DCI/Jet Tec’s remanufactured inkjet cartridges and laser toners are produced using cartridges collected through their sister company and collection arm, The Recycling Factory. More than one million cartridges are collected each month and go through a rigorous inspection process to verify that they are suitable for remanufacturing. As a result, DCI/Jet Tec is able to re-use many cartridges which may otherwise end up in landfil. The Recycling Factory works actively with retailers, charities and businesses and, since 2005, has raised in excess of £3m for charities.

Franking machine cartridge remanufacturer Totalpost Services Plc exhibited for the sixth year running. The company used the show to discuss how its latest products are faring in the market and to gain feedback on new product releases that may be required. Totalpost prides itself on its proactivity and aims to bring new compatible cartridges to market within 12 months of the OEM releases. Managing Director David Hymers said:

“We are always expanding our range and, as well as developing further consumable products, we are also in the process of adding more mailroom equipment to our range. In fact, at this show we have signed another new agreement which will allow us to distribute a new range to fie countries.”
