With age comes not only wisdom, it seems, but also higher levels of productivity and greater resilience to growing workloads.

The Wrike Digital Work Report, based on a survey of 3,000 office workers across Europe, found that as work demands have gone up in the past year, one third of over-55s in the UK believe they still operate at productivity levels of over 90%, compared to just 8% of Millennials (aged 25-34).

More than two thirds (69%) of Millennials say they find rising workloads harder to cope with, compared to 54% of the over 55s. A quarter of UK Millennials say they’ve taken more days off sick as a result, compared to 13% among the over 55s.
