Herma switches to renewable energy

Directive 2009/28/EC.

The energy consumed by Herma is now generated entirely by hydropower, which, compared to a conventional German energy mix, will produce savings of about 8,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide in 2015 alone.

Herma Managing Director Dr Thomas Baumgärtner said: “By pursuing this course, we are assuming even more responsibility for our environment. During the last years, we have already lived up to this standard through the continuous optimisation of our energy consumption and through certifid energy management practices.”
