Frama, the fastest growing Royal Mail-approved franking machine manufacturer and service provider in the UK, has introduced the Frama FREE Ink initiative.
The company warns that the price of printer ink, also used in franking machines, has been climbing steadily for a number of years and is likely to go on rising, following hikes in the cost of raw materials and ever stricter enforcement of environmental rules in China and India.
Frama points out that printer ink is already measure-for-measure more expensive than champagne, Chanel No.5 perfume and even crude oil, and says that even with conservative use franking machine ink costs can run into hundreds of pounds per year.
To help businesses manage these costs, it has introduced a FREE ink option on Frama franking machine lease rental agreements. Under the Frama FREE Ink initiative, Frama’s team of account managers will assess a customer’s current ink usage and provide a pre-determined number of cartridges with each machine.
Frama, a subsidiary of Swiss parent company Frama AG, draws upon 40 years of industry experience. Its customers have access to an extensive range of Swiss-made products, produced to exacting quality standards, supported by a team of UK-based customer service professionals committed to delivering the Frama CareS customer service promise.
The company’s current range of Matrix franking machines has won a Business Info Editor’s Choice award.
